The advisory committee of Funergal 2020 outlines the professional actions of the next edition

>> It will start on May 21 with the International Congress of Funeral Directors and on 22 and 23 the fair will be held

>> A mission of importers of markets of interest for Spanish companies will be organized

Expourense hosted a new meeting of the organizing committee of Funergal 2020 to finalize the professional actions of the next edition of the International Funeral Products and Services Fair to be held in Ourense between 21 and 23 of May. The International Congress of Funeral Directors, the main novelty of this edition, will start on May 21 in parallel and complementary to the fair that will be held on 22 and 23.

During this meeting, an advance of the program of this international congress was presented that will position Funergal as the great international meeting point of the sector, with Europe and Latin America as prominent continents. Among the topics to be addressed are those related to environmental management in the sector and the provision of sustainable funeral services and also those that will deal with business opportunities in the international market and also with the cultural management of cemeteries.

The conference program will be complemented by several practical workshops on very specific topics such as tanatopraxia, tanato-aesthetics (reconstruction of skulls) or on floral art.

This congress will also include a complementary program that will allow attendees to know the province of Ourense and its food and wine resources through guided visits to the Ribeiro and Ribeira Sacra regions that will also include a visit to the factory of one of the leading companies in the international market in the manufacture of coffins.

 

International trade mission

Consolidated as a great international meeting point of the sector, the next edition of Funergal will again have the objective of promoting the business and competitiveness of the participating companies through actions such as trade missions with importers of markets of interest for Spain and Portugal as They are Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Bolivia. This mission will be co-organized between Expourense and the Latin American Association of Cemeteries and Funeral Services, ALPAR.
