Press Note – Funergal

>> The Mexican Foundation Honor a quien Honor Merece presented its honorary diplomas this afternoon to the Latin American entrepreneurs participating in this year’s trade mission and to five exhibitors with outstanding participation

>> Aedrop and Infuner presented their latest products and services today

Funergal, the International Fair for Funeral Products and Services, held the second day of its thirteenth edition today, marked by business meetings between exhibitors and professional visitors, presentations of innovative products and services by companies such as Aerodrop and Infuner, and the presentation of awards to exhibitors by the Mexican foundation Honor a quien Honor Merece.

The Foundation wished to recognize the efforts made by the business leaders who participated this year in the special trade mission to Funergal organized by Beto Gil, CEO of the Mexican company Gane Ventas Funerarias and president of this Foundation. His mission led him to summit Mount Everest in 2025, sponsored by around fifty collaborating organizations, including Funergal.

The funeral companies honored with the Foundation’s special Honoris Causa Everest distinction are leaders in funeral services within their respective countries and seeking European partners for processes such as repatriations and coffin imports. These companies are: Vidanova from Ecuador, Servicios Funerarios López from Valparaíso (Chile), Funeraria Fuchslocher from Puyehue (Chile), and Industria de Capillas Fúnebres Velasco from Peru. The Foundation also recognized the work of Arax Gil, correspondent for the Mexican magazine El Guardián de los Muertos, who traveled to cover Funergal.

In collaboration with Expourense, the Foundation also presented diplomas to five exhibitors who, in the words of Funergal director Rogelio Martínez, “represent everything that can be seen these days at Funergal and, for different reasons, embody a committed and strong dedication to this fair. An added value demonstrated through their affection, commitment, loyalty, support for internationalization, and above all, their help in organizing the best possible Funergal.”

The companies recognized this year were:

– Artavia (Allariz – Spain). For its loyalty to Funergal, the quality of its products, and its strong commitment to turning its stand into an attractive and dynamic meeting point for visitors.

– Único (Murcia – Spain). For its strong commitment to Funergal. This is the first time the company has participated, and organizers hope to welcome them again. Also for contributing to the creation of memorial spaces that respect heritage, surroundings, and memory.

– Belartfune (Leça do Balio – Portugal). For creating a highly attractive exhibition space featuring innovative and high-quality products, and for its excellent promotion of Funergal through social media.

– Neomemorial (Buenos Aires – Argentina). For facilitating funeral sector access to Artificial Intelligence, which can support both funeral organization and the grieving process.

– Santos e Godinho (Amarante – Portugal). For joining Funergal with a high-quality product that helps position this fair as the leading meeting point for Portugal’s funeral sector.

Product and Service Presentations

One of Funergal’s distinguishing features compared to similar events is that it offers exhibitors the opportunity to present innovative products and services to fellow exhibitors, visitors, and the media.

During this second day, the Funergal 2026 presentation area hosted the unveiling of a new service by the Madrid-based company Aerodrop. AD-Funerarias is an app designed to simplify the daily operations of funeral homes by integrating all operational processes into a single system accessible from any device. Developed based on the real needs of its clients, the app introduces improvements that streamline daily management and funeral service operations.

Meanwhile, INFUNER Innovaciones Funerarias, based in León, presented “Selene,” a funeral jewelry collection created to transform remembrance into something intimate, elegant, and truly personal. Each piece has been designed with its own identity, with careful attention to shape, lines, and detail in order to convey emotion without excess. The collection aims not only to preserve memories, but also to create a lasting emotional bond in a natural, discreet, and elegant way.

Funergal 2026 will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, at 2:30 p.m. with the traditional pulpo á feira (Galician-style octopus) offered to exhibitors and visitors by the Provincial Association of Funeral Companies of Ourense (APEFO).
