Funergal 2020 ratifies its Internationality

It will celebrate its 11th edition between May 21 and 23 and will be the only international event of the Iberian Peninsula held this year.

Funergal 2020, International Funeral Products and Services Fair, has ratified the Seal of Internationality for the fifth consecutive edition being ratified again by the resolution of the Secretary of State for Commerce of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Tourism Government of Spain, published in the Official State Gazette of last Monday, December 30, 2019 (nº 313).

Fungeral will be held between May 21 and 23, being the only international event of the sector in the Iberian Peninsula planned for this year and the best professional business center in which exhibitors, visitors and importers from a dozen countries participate.

International fairs are one of the elements in the future with greater promotion of international exchanges. The most important entrepreneurs in each sector meet and are an irreplaceable framework for establishing contacts, launch projects, dissemination of information, etc.

The tenth edition of Funergal held in 2018 was the fourth as an international event, and managed to meet the expectations of both exhibitors and professional visitors seeing the figures of the previous nine editions exceeded in terms of number of exhibitors (111), exhibition area (first time to complete pavilion) and countries represented, a total of 14. The 10th edition of the International Funeral Products and Services Fair also visited more than 4,000 professionals.

The last edition had the collaboration (present through stand or through sponsorship of the event) of large funeral groups in Spain (Funespaña, Interfunerarias, Grupo Albia and Parcesa) who saw in this appointment an opportunity to position their brand among professionals and to open the sector to a society in which death continues to be a “taboo” issue and in which they work to fulfill a key function in a paradigm shift and transform death into an intimate and full experience in which the funeral be a tribute to life led by the deceased.

Among the exhibitors of Funergal 2018 they shared space with the main manufacturers of coffins, crematoriums, urns, funeral vehicles and other funeral items from Spain and Portugal and from other countries such as Italy, Holland, France, Pakistan or Germany that also had the opportunity to Meet with importers from Brazil, Guatemala or Colombia who participate in the international trade mission of this edition.
