Press Note – Funergal
It will celebrate its 11th edition between May 19 and 20, 2022 and will be the only international event on the Iberian Peninsula held this year.
Funergal 2022, the International Funeral Products and Services Fair, has ratified the Seal of Internationality for the fifth consecutive edition, being ratified again by the resolution of the Secretary of State for Commerce of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Tourism of the Government of Spain, published in the Official State Gazette of last Tuesday, December 21 (nº 304).
Fungeral will be held between May 19 and 20, being the only international event for the sector in the Iberian Peninsula scheduled for this year and the best professional business center in which exhibitors, visitors and importers from a dozen countries participate.
International fairs are one of the elements in the future with a greater promotion of international exchanges. The most important entrepreneurs from each sector meet and are an irreplaceable framework for establishing contacts, launching projects, disseminating information, etc.
The last edition of Funergal as a fair was held in 2018 and was the fourth as an international event, and managed to meet the expectations of both exhibitors and professional visitors, seeing the figures of the nine previous editions surpassed in terms of the number of exhibitors (111) exhibition space (first time with a full pavilion) and represented countries, a total of 14. The 10th edition of the International Fair of Funeral Products and Services also achieved the visit of more than 4,000 professionals.
Remember that in 2020 the 1st International Congress on Funeral Directors was held in hybrid format. In 2022, a second edition of this congress will be held, coinciding with the fair.
It will also be the first edition of Funergal with the high-speed connection to Madrid (which is, by the way, one of the cities with the best air connectivity in Europe (with direct flights to 66 countries) and which places Ourense at two and a quarter hours of the capital of Spain, which will facilitate the participation of both national and international exhibitors and participants in this event.
